The construction of Shanghai Aviation Hub is an important part of the strategy of China's Civil Aviation Powerful Country, and also an important part of the construction of Shanghai International Shipping Center. The State Administration of Civil Aviation and Shanghai Municipal Government jointly issued the Strategic Plan for Shanghai Aviation Hub, which clearly put forward that the core function of Shanghai Aviation Hub is "China Portal Hub" and the prominent function is "International Transport Hub". Taking Pudong Airport as the main airport and taking the lead in building an international air cargo hub is an important strategic goal of Shanghai's air hub construction. Shanghai Aviation Hub is clearly required to become a competitive international hub airport, the core hub of Asia-Pacific region and the first international air cargo hub in the world.
