Shanghai Free Trade Area was officially established. A competitive FTA can not be separated from a mature aviation hub. Aviation hub and FTA should be a harmonious development relationship of "mutual promotion, common prosperity and progress". The construction of Shanghai Free Trade Zone will bring great opportunities to the development of Shanghai Airport, make the economic and trade exchanges between Shanghai and other parts of the world more frequent, promote a new round of growth peak in the air passenger transport market in Shanghai, and bring more air cargo sources to Shanghai, further consolidate the position of Shanghai Pudong Airport as a global air cargo hub.
